If you add three consecutive numbers together, sometimes it is even and sometimes odd because if the calculation is say 1,2 and 3 if you add 1 and 3 it =4. So 2+4=6.
But if you add say 2+3=5 and 5+4=9. So this question is wrong.

If you add an even number to a even the answer is always for example 2×8=16 that's an even number and 8×6=48 that's an even number and I could go on for ever.

Tami, you're not adding here, you are multiplying! What happens when you add?
