What are we learning this week?

Week Beginning  Monday 16th April:

We welcome Miss Earle, a teaching student, to 1S.  She will be teaching some lessons in our class over the next 6 weeks.

English - this week we will start a new series of lessons based around the text The Rabbit Problem by Emily Gravett

Mathematics - we will be reading and writing numbers to twenty in numerals and words

Keep practising your tables - We start with our X10 table, then the X2 table and then the X5 tables.  We will have weekly tests  -  keep practising!!  The test will always be on a Wednesday.

SCIENCE - We will start a new topic: Plants. We will also be investigating & asking scientific questions using a website called Explorify.

TOPIC - We will start a new topic The UK and Our Locality.

PE - This half term we will, once again have Miss Alyson, our PE specialist.
