Holi is a Hindu festival known as the festival of colours. It celebrates good winning over evil. Different colours symbolise different virtues of the soul. We covered our clothes in white plastic bags and then drew on them in different colours and stuck on coloured feathers.
‘We are saddened to confirm the departure of our Headteacher, Mr. McCoy, who left Sherdley Primary School at the end of the Spring Term. From the Summer Term, Mrs. Bennett will be acting as Head. With this in mind and as you can appreciate, many of our policies have Mr. McCoy's name on, these will be updated to Mrs. Bennett.
